Anna Helen Demacopoulos Elected as Judge of the Circuit Court 15th Judicial Subcircuit!


 
 

Anna Helen Demacopoulos is the daughter of Greek immigrants and a life-long resident of Cook County residing in Palos Park with her husband, Andreas Kosmas, and their eight-year-old twin daughters. A product of the public school system, Anna graduated from Alan B. Shepard High School participating in numerous activities including school plays, and was state finalist for the forensic speech team.

Anna graduated from Chicago’s Loyola University cum laude, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. She earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1985. Anna served as student bar association representative and class treasurer her last year. She represented the law school at the ABA National Mock Trial Team competition and placed as a regional finalist. Since 1987, Anna has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law in Trial Advocacy, and as a National Mock Trial Team Coach, where she coached teams to the regional and national finals. She serves on the Alumni Board of Directors at John Marshall and faculty advisor to the Hellenic Law Student Association. In 2006 the John Marshall Alumni Board awarded Demacopoulos with the Distinguished Service Award at their annual Freedom Award Luncheon.
